GetWANIP v1.49ß:

This small application will not only get your WAN IP address; it will also create a batch file that contains information about your network, which can be used by any program that uses MS-DOS variables and/or can read a text file.

Example of this file:

@echo off
set wanip=89.27.137.115
set waniplookup=c-89-27-137-115.t1.ga.someone.net [89.27.137.115]
set ipaddress=192.168.2.200
set routeraddress=192.168.2.1
(dummy data)

Usage:

GetWANIP - Starts the program, allowing the user full control over the program.

GetWANIP /auto - This will start the program, run it , and then exits out automatically.

GetWANIP /s - This is the same as the '/auto' except there is no 'visual' clue that the program was run. This is the 'silent' mode.

Menu:

There is only one menu, 'Actions'.  This will open your router's log-in screen if your router permits it.

Files Created:

GetWANIP will create a folder/directory called 'Bat'.  In this directory, the above MS-DOS batch file is created, which is called WANIP.Bat.  This file contains the above info.

Buttons:

Get WAN IP Address:  This will start the process of obtaining your WAN IP address.

Exit:  This will exit the program.

Double-Clicking On The 'Last Check Made On' Text, Will Show Previous/Current WANIP.Bat Info. - This Will Toggle The Info Window
