GetWANIP
v1.49ß:
This small
application will not only get your WAN IP address; it will also create a batch file that
contains information about your network, which can be used by any program
that uses MS-DOS variables and/or can read a text file.
Example of
this file:
@echo off
set wanip=89.27.137.115
set waniplookup=c-89-27-137-115.t1.ga.someone.net [89.27.137.115]
set ipaddress=192.168.2.200
set routeraddress=192.168.2.1
(dummy data)
Usage:
GetWANIP -
Starts the program, allowing the user full control over the program.
GetWANIP
/auto - This will start the program, run it , and then exits out automatically.
GetWANIP /s
- This is the same as the '/auto' except there is no 'visual' clue that the
program was
run. This is the 'silent' mode.
Menu:
There is
only one menu, 'Actions'. This will open your router's log-in screen if
your router permits it.
Files
Created:
GetWANIP
will create a folder/directory called 'Bat'. In this directory, the above MS-DOS batch
file is created, which is called WANIP.Bat. This file contains
the above info.
Buttons:
Get WAN IP
Address: This will start the process of obtaining your WAN IP address.
Exit:
This will exit the program.
Double-Clicking
On The 'Last Check Made On' Text, Will Show Previous/Current WANIP.Bat Info. - This Will
Toggle The Info Window
Double-Clicking
On The WAN IP info will attempt to log-in to your router based on above info.
